RYMCO Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is manufactured from high-grade mild steel and offers an increase in durability and long-lasting life. EMT is manufactured with uniform wall thickness and continuously welded seams that are inspected and tested for interior defects. RYMCO EMT is available in trade sizes from 1/2 - 4 inch in standard lengths of 10 feet (3.05 meters). RYMCO uses color-coded tape for small bundles to easily identify different sizes in an order. 

Application: RYMCO EMT complies with NEC Article 358 and can be installed indoors or outdoors, including wet and dry locations, exposed or concealed in a variety of atmospheric conditions. EMT may also be used in hazardous locations in accordance with NEC Article 502, 503 and 504 provided it will not be subject to severe physical damage during and after installation. EMT is recognized in the NEC Section 358.60 as an acceptable equipment grounding conductor and offers shielding against electromagnetic fields generated during normal operation of electrical installations.

RYMCO Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) Developed as a lighter, but slightly wider version as our RMC. With 33% less steel and 1/3 less weight. The IMC comes in trade sizes from 1/2-4 inch in standard lengths of 10 feet (3.05 meters) including the coupling and threaded on both ends. The taper of the threads is ¾ in. per foot (1 in 16) and are protected after cutting with molten zinc after. RYMCO IMC protects insulated electrical conductors and cables from magnetic interference, damage, impact and crushing. Colorcoded end caps are applied opposite the couplings to protect the threads and provide quick visual indication of trade sizes.

Application: RYMCO IMC can be installed in all occupancies and locations, including Class 1 Division 1 hazardous locations and is recognized in the NEC Section 250.118 as an acceptable equipment grounding conductor and offers shielding against electromagnetic fields generated during normal operation of electrical installations.

Adding vibrant color without the additional labor of applying spray paint, powder coat, or tape while in the field. Real Color EMT combines strength with ductility, providing easy bending, cutting and joining while resisting flattening, and splitting. Available in trade sizes 1/2” (16) - 4”(103). Real Color® EMT Conduit creates an Electrical Raceway System recognized as an Equipment Grounding Conductor. The EMT conduit is a raceway solution allowing for future wiring changes and excellent mechanical protection to conductors and cables. Real Color® EMT provides EMI shielding and is 100% recyclable. RYMCO’s RMC comes in trade sizes from 1/2 - 6 inches in standard lengths of 10 feet (3.05 meters) including the coupling and threaded on both ends, per industry standards (ANSI B1.20.1). The taper of the threads is ¾ in per foot (1 in 16) and are protected after cutting with an application of molten zinc. Color-coded end caps are applied opposite the couplings to protect the threads and provide a quick visual indication of trade sizes.
